NARRADORES DE JAVÉ: UMA ANÁLISE DA LÍNGUA COMO INTERPRETANTE DA SOCIEDADE
Este trabalho desenvolve um
estudo baseado nos fundamentos teóricos de
Émile Benveniste, a partir de seus Problemas
de linguística geral I e II, acerca do homem,
da linguagem e da cultura com o objetivo de
analisar as formas de presença do homem na
língua. Conforme a perspectiva benvenistiana,
a língua e a sociedade são noções imensas
e complexas a serem exploradas. Em razão
disso, estabelece-se como corpus de análise o
discurso da obra cinematográfica Narradores de
Javé (2003), para, desse discurso, depreender a
língua como sistema interpretante da sociedade.
Assim, estabelecem-se como procedimentos
analíticos aqueles derivados do caráter de
interpretância da língua: a) a análise da
faculdade semântica da língua; b) a referência –
testemunho e condição do emprego das formas;
c) a relação eu/tu a ele – cada um se determina
como sujeito em relação ao outro. Com tal
delimitação, poder-se-á verificar as descrições
deste composto de natureza e de experiência
chamado sociedade. A análise apresenta língua
e sociedade como noções implicadas entre si,
visto que é por intermédio da língua que se
pode ver um homem falando com outro homem
no mundo. Por fim, compreende-se no uso da
língua toda a organização social da pequena
Javé e seus habitantes, pois sempre que o
discurso é atualizado por seus narradores a
língua apresenta-se como interpretante da
sociedade.

Abstract:
This research develops a study
based on the theorical foundations of Émile
Benveniste, from his Problems of general
linguistics I and II, about the man, the language
and the culture with the objective to analyse the
forms of presence of the man in the language.
According to the perspective of Benveniste,
the language and society are immense and
complex notions to be explored. On account of
this, it is established as corpus of assessment
the discourse of cinematographic work
Narrators of Javé (2003), for this discourse to
gather the language as system interpretant of
the society. Thus, are established like analytical
proceedings those derivates of the character of
interpretance of the language: a) the analysis
of the semantic faculty of the language; b) the
reference – testimony and condition of the use
of the forms; c) the relation I/you to he – each
one is determined like subject in relation to the
other. In this delimitation, it will be possible to
check the descriptions of this compound of nature and of experience called society.
The analysis presents language and society as notions implicated each other, since
that is through the language as you can see a man talking with another man in the
world. Finally, is understood in the use of the language all the social organization of
the little Javé and its inhabitants, because whenever the discourse is updated by its
narrators the language is presented as interpretant of the society.
