O texto propõe uma breve reflexão

acerca dos impactos e dos efeitos na tecnocultura

contemporânea provocados pelo aumento de

processos automáticos de rastreamento, captura

e processamento de informações obtidas a partir

do uso de acessórios computacionais vestíveis

(wearables). Para tanto, pretende-se realizar

o cruzamento de um conjunto de referências

teóricas acerca de temas relacionados às

práticas de arquivamento com a análise do

terceiro episódio da primeira temporada da

série britânica Black Mirror, intitulado The entire

history of you. Ao colocar o foco narrativo sobre

os processos de recuperação instantânea de

lembranças pessoais, este episódio favorece

o debate sobre a memória artificial, abrindo

caminho para que novas questões venham

à tona, especialmente, a problemática que

envolve a impossibilidade do esquecimento

em um contexto marcado pelo arquivismo

compulsivo.

Abstract:
The text proposes a brief reflection

on the impacts and effects on contemporary

technoculture caused by the increase of

automatic processes of tracking, capture and

processing of information obtained from the

use of wearable computing accessories. In

order to do so, it is intended to combine a set

of theoretical references on topics related to

archival practices with the analysis of the third

episode of the first season of the British series

Black Mirror, titled The entire history of you. By

placing the narrative focus on the processes of

instantaneous retrieval of personal memories,

this episode favors the debate on artificial

memory, opening the way for new questions to

arise, especially the problematic that involves

the impossibility of forgetting in a context marked

by compulsive archivism.
