NOVAS ÁREAS TURÍSTICAS E EXEMPLOS DE BOAS PRÁTICAS EM ESCALA REGIONAL
RESUMO: Os recursos do espaço rural estão se
tornando básicos para programas educacionais
e de empreendedorismo, alimentando, assim,
páginas de políticas e estratégias. Entre as
possíveis atividades ligadas a este espaço, há
o turismo rural. O presente contributo analisa as
iniciativas bem-sucedidas da região da Apúlia
(Itália) no campo do desenvolvimento rural.
O diagnóstico qualitativo revela o crescente
interesse pelo espaço rural nesta região, onde
o turismo rural é um setor promissor para
o desenvolvimento do turismo sustentável.
Consequentemente, optamos por concentrar
nossa atenção nessa atividade. É abordado a
partir de uma perspectiva comparativa dupla.
Por um lado, levamos em conta as definições
teóricas do turismo rural. Por outro lado,
avaliaremos a transferibilidade das práticas
bem-sucedidas no campo do turismo rural de
outros países. O resultado é uma proposta de
Boas Práticas transferíveis, com a intenção
de incrementar o desenvolvimento do turismo
sustentável na Apúlia.

Abstract:
The resources of the rural
space are becoming basic for educational and
entrepreneurship programs, thus nourishing
pages of policies and strategies. Among the
possible activities linked to this space, there is
rural tourism. The present contribution analyses
the successful initiatives of theregion of Apulia
(Italy) in the field of rural development. The
qualitative diagnosis reveals the growing interest
in rural space in this region, where rural tourism
is a promising sector for the development of
sustainable tourism. Consequently, we opt
for focusing our attention on this activity. It
is approached from a double comparative
perspective. On the one hand, we take into
accountthe theoretical definitions of rural
tourism. On the other hand, we will evaluate the
transferability of the successful practices in the
field of rural tourism of other countries. The result
is a proposal of transferable Good Practices,
with the intention to enhance the development
sustainable tourism in Apulia
