Afinal, o que é Performance Art?
Este pequeno ensaio tem a pretensão de percorrer o longo trajeto das vanguardas europeias a fim de traçar o que se manifesta como rastros da gênese do movimento artístico denominado Performance Art. Para tal empreendimento faz-se um retorno à Marinetti em seu Manifesto Futurista, apresentando a partir desse ponto chave a mudança crescente que a arte e a anti-arte oferecem à produção de sentidos no mundo moderno, influenciando não somente os processos criativos como todas as ideologias políticas, de gênero, filosóficas, científicas e raciais por onde quer que passassem. Nesse contexto o surgimento do movimento da Performance Art se consolida por essa multiplicidade de tensionamentos possíveis do fazer humano.

Abstract:
This short essay intends to cover the long path of European avant-garde in order to trace what is manifested as traces of the genesis of the artistic movement called Performance Art. For this endeavor, Marinetti returns in his Futurist Manifesto, presenting the From this key point, the growing change that art and anti-art offer to the production of meanings in the modern world, influencing not only creative processes but all political, gender, philosophical, scientific and racial ideologies wherever they went. In this context, the emergence of the Performance Art movement is consolidated by this multiplicity of possible tensions of human making.
