Antilophia bokermanni: RISCO DE EXTINÇÃO EM CHAPADA DO ARARIPE NO ESTADO DO CEARÁ
A Chapada do Araripe corresponde a uma superfície aplanada no extremo Sul do Ceará, sendo habitat de espécies ameaçadas de extinção como o Antilophia bokermanni, o Soldadinho-do-araripe. Segundo Gaiotti (2016), a metropolização do região gerou inúmeros problemas como desmatamento, incêndios, invasão de encostas e secamento das fontes. O Soldadinho é um pássaro endêmico da mata úmida da Chapada e está na lista vermelha da BirdLife Internacional desde o ano 2000 (SILVA, 2011). Esta pesquisa, realizada por alunos da Escola Antônio Leite Tavares, Município de Barro, objetivou conhecer a espécie, seu nicho e as ações antrópicas que ameaçam o pássaro, bem como alertar a sociedade para necessidade de conservação deste. A metodologia adotada foi uma pesquisa exploratória com abordagem qualitativa contemplando o entendimento da situação populacional da ave. Durante o estudo foram realizadas aulas de campo na Chapada e, na escola, oficinas de construção de modelos de pássaros com papel machê, exibição de vídeos e produção de cordéis, alertando a comunidade escolar para o risco de extinção da ave estudada. Os dados começaram a ser coletados em setembro de 2018. Os resultados foram obtidos a partir da análise e discussão de estudos publicados sobre o soldadinho e revelaram que a interferência humana, o desmatamento e desvio das nascentes constituem os fatores de risco na degradação do seu ambiente. Apontaram ainda, a necessidade imediata de proteção desta espécie endêmica das matas da encosta da Chapada com uma dinâmica populacional sensivelmente vulnerável ao desaparecimento.

Abstract:
The Chapada do Araripe corresponds to a flattened surface in the extreme south of Ceará, being the habitat of endangered species such as the Antilophia bokermanni, the Soldadinho-do-araripe. According to Gaiotti (2016), the metropolization of the region has generated numerous problems such as deforestation, fires, invasion of hillsides, and drying up of springs. The Soldadinho is an endemic bird of the Chapada humid forest and has been on the BirdLife International red list since 2000 (SILVA, 2011). This research, conducted by students of the Antônio Leite Tavares School, Municipality of Barro, aimed to learn about the species, its niche and the anthropic actions that threaten the bird, as well as alert society to the need for its conservation. The methodology adopted was an exploratory research with a qualitative approach contemplating the understanding of the bird's population situation. During the study, field classes were held in the Chapada and, at the school, workshops were held to build bird models with papier-mâché, to show videos, and to produce cordéis, alerting the school community to the risk of extinction of the bird under study. Data began to be collected in September 2018. The results were obtained from the analysis and discussion of published studies on the little soldier and revealed that human interference, deforestation, and detour of springs constitute the risk factors in the degradation of its environment. They also pointed out, the immediate need for protection of this endemic species of the forests of the Chapada slope with a population dynamic sensitively vulnerable to disappearance.
