UNIVERSIDADE COMUNITÁRIA E A TENSÃO PÚBLICO-PRIVADO: COLEGIALIDADE E PARTICIPAÇÃO ESTUDANTIL NAS INSTÂNCIAS DE GESTÃO
As universidades comunitárias regionais possuem gestão colegiada, com representação de professores, funcionários, estudantes e comunidade externa em órgãos deliberativos. No atual cenário de mercantilização, caracterizado pelo “capitalismo acadêmico na nova economia”, a educação superior é vista como bem privado e os estudantes como clientes. A pesquisa que origina esta comunicação, desenvolvida ao longo de 2018, estuda as instâncias colegiadas de gestão das instituições comunitárias desde o olhar dos estudantes, apreendendo sua percepção sobre tais espaços e seu protagonismo nos processos decisórios. A comunicação apresenta o referencial teórico que alicerça a pesquisa, explorando os conceitos de universidade comunitária, movimento estudantil, colegialidade e capitalismo acadêmico.

Abstract:
The regional community universities have collegiate management, with representation of professors, employees, students and the external community in deliberative instances. In the current scenario of commodification, characterized by “academic capitalism in the new economy”, higher education is seen as a private good and students are seen as clients. The research that originated this communication, developed throughout 2018, studies the collegiate instances of management of community institutions, based on the perspective of the students. The research seeks to understand their perception of such spaces and their role in decision-making processes. The communication presents the theoretical framework that underlies the research, exploring the concepts of community university, student movement, collegiality and academic capitalism.
