PROTEÇÃO SOCIAL E SAÚDE MENTAL DE UNIVERSITÁRIOS NA UFF CAMPOS
Este trabalho apresenta a reflexão
sobre o papel da universidade no conjunto
das políticas sociais e sua contribuição para
a proteção social e impactos na saúde mental
de estudantes universitários. Elucida as
transformações que as Instituições de Ensino
Superior (IES) passaram nas últimas duas
décadas com o advento do Programa de Apoio
a Planos de Reestruturação e Expansão das
Universidades Federais (REUNI), a fim de
promover sua expansão e a democratização do
acesso. Tal processo é marcado pela conjuntura
de crise político-econômica, precarizando
as políticas que visam contribuir para a
permanência no ensino superior. Questiona
a relação de tal contexto para as condições
objetivas de existência desses alunos e a
conformação da subjetividade dos mesmos.

Abstract:
This paper presents a reflection
about the role of the university in the set
of social policies and its contribution to the
social (dis) protection and mental health of
university students. It elucidates the changesthat the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
have undergone in the last two decades with
the advent of the Program to Support Federal
University Restructuring and Expansion Plans
(REUNI), in order to promote their expansion
and the democratization of access. This process
is marked by the conjuncture of politicaleconomic crisis, precarious policies that aim
to contribute to the permanence in higher
education. It questions the relation of such
context to the objective conditions of existence
of these students and the conformation of their
subjectivity.
