  • Abstract:

In order to alleviate a major problem of the present time, which is the generation of solid waste in construction, and considering that these solid wastes do not have a sustainable and ecological purpose, it was then thought the theme of this work, since in civil construction the use this type of material is still little explored. In this way the following work proposed studies on the feasibility of kraft paper from cement bags and wood fiber making modular boards with the intention of being thermoacoustic. The plates were produced with bags of crushed cements, wood fiber and urea formaldehyde resin, varying the percentage of wood fiber aggregated in the material to analyze if it causes variations in the final results. In this way the object of study, even though it is not produced in large scale, it is possible to affirm that its cost of production is low, since it was made of plates made with recycled raw material. Also, from the results obtained by the tests performed in the present work, it was verified that the plates responded positively, thus meeting the objectives established in this study.
