AMÉRICA LATINA: ENTRE O PASSADO E O PRESENTE COLONIAL
O presente artigo busca apresentar o legado colonial na América Latina, analisando a continuidade e descontinuidade do seu sistema na formulação dos discursos epistemológicos e políticos. O referido texto intenta reconstruir a ligação entre o passado colonial e o profundo divórcio entre os segmentos da sociedade civil e a implementação de políticas macroeconômicas. Essas estruturas de gestão e controle que emergiram nas economias dos países ricos do Atlântico Norte têm colocado inúmeros desafios que se dão não apenas no nível econômico, mas também nas diferentes esferas e instituições públicas. Esse imaginário do mundo moderno colonial dá-se pela complexa articulação do poder que impõe uma visão unilateral da história. Diante desse quadro, buscar-se-á uma abordagem mais abrangente a partir dos aportes teóricos de autores como Bauman (1999, 2005, 2007, 2017), Boaventura Santos (1989, 2017), Walter Mignolo (2017) e Aníbal Quijano (2005).

Abstract:
This article intends to analyze the colonial legacy in Latin America, evaluating the continuity and discontinuity of its system in the formulation of epistemological and political discourses. This text proposes to reconstruct the link between the colonial past and the deep divorce between the segments of civil society and the implementation of macroeconomic policies. These management and control structures that have emerged in the economies of the rich countries of the North Atlantic have posed numerous challenges that arise not only at the economic level, but also in different spheres and public institutions. This imaginary of the modern colonial world is given by the complex articulation of power that imposes a unilateral view of history. Given this framework, a more comprehensive approach will be sought from the theoretical contributions of authors such as Bauman (1999, 2005, 2007, 2017), Boaventura Santos (1989, 2017), Walter Mignolo (2017) and Aníbal Quijano (2005).
