AS PRÁTICAS INTEGRATIVAS E COMPLEMENTARES EM SAÚDE NO CONTEXTO DA FORMAÇÃO EM FISIOTERAPIA: UM RELATO SOBRE O PROCESSO DE SENSIBILIZAÇÃO NA GRADUAÇÃO
No ano de 2006 o Ministério da
Saúde publicou a Política Nacional de Práticas
Integrativas e Complementares (PNPIC) no SUS,
que busca estimular os mecanismos naturais de
prevenção de agravos e recuperação da saúde,
com escuta acolhedora, desenvolvimento do
vínculo terapêutico e integração do ser humano
com o meio ambiente e a sociedade. Este relato
tem como objetivo expressar o modo como as
Práticas Integrativas e Complementares em
Saúde (PICS) vêm atuando como movimento
de sensibilização na formação do graduando
em Fisioterapia. No ano de 2015 iniciaram-se
as primeiras aproximações com as PICS no
curso de fisioterapia do Centro Universitário
de João Pessoa, onde foi criado o grupo de
estudos inicialmente denominado Fito em
Fisio, que se tornou um espaço de diálogos
acerca das possíveis correlações dos recursos
fisioterapêuticos associados a fitoterápicos. A
partir de então, se difundiu dentro do ambiente
acadêmico a busca sobre o entendimento
da população a respeito da contribuição das
plantas para a saúde, e se desencadeou uma
pesquisa. Dando continuidade às atividades
do grupo, iniciaram-se os estudos sobre as
PICS, e atualmente, é desenvolvida também
uma experiência de extensão universitária com
ações na universidade e na comunidade. O
processo de sensibilização às práticas de saúde
na graduação de fisioterapia foi ganhando
espaço e vem despertando nos discentes
interesse e caminhos para um novo perfil de futuros profissionais da saúde. Acreditase que a implementação de um componente curricular voltado para as PICS durante a
graduação de fisioterapia proporcionaria uma formação profissional para um cuidado
mais integrativo e resolutivo.

Abstract:
In 2006, the Brazilian Ministry of Health published the National Policy
on Integrative and Complementary Practices (PNPIC) in the SUS, which seeks to
stimulate natural mechanisms for the prevention of diseases and recovery of health,
with a warm listening, development of the therapeutic link and integration of the human
being with the environment and society. This report aims to express the way in which
Integrative and Complementary Practices act in the context of awareness in the training
of graduates in Physiotherapy. In the year of 2015 we began the first approximations
with the PICs in the physiotherapy course of Centro Universitário de João Pessoa. It
was created the Fito em Fisio research group to discuss the possible correlations of the
physiotherapeutic resources associated with herbal medicines. It also disseminated
within the academic environment the contribution of several plants with easy access to
the health of the population. Besides the search of the knowledge about the policies of
the diverse modalities of the PICs. The purpose of the experiment was to transmit and
raise awareness among academics about the importance of the search for knowledge
about PICs, as well as to raise awareness about their use in the physiotherapeutic field.
The process of sensitization to health practices in the graduation of physiotherapy has
been gaining space and has awakened in the students the interest and paths to a new
profile of future health professionals. We believe that the implementation of a curricular
component aimed at the PICs during the graduation of physiotherapy would provide
even more qualified and capable professionals in caring, educating and promoting
health.
