ANÁLISE SOBRE A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DOS EVENTOS DE CICLISMO PARA O CICLOTURISMO
O trabalho de pesquisa desenvolvido está incluso no projeto Turismo Regional: planejamento, organização e desenvolvimento, dando continuidade à pesquisa iniciada em 2017 no tema cicloturismo, buscando subsídios para o entendimento do segmento, abrangendo a área de eventos. Objetivou-se demonstrar que os eventos de ciclismo podem incrementar o turismo em uma localidade e que o desenvolvimento do cicloturismo pode ser favorecido neste contexto sendo trabalhado como produto turístico. Metodologicamente o trabalho se caracteriza pelo levantamento do referencial teórico para embasar a linha de pesquisa utilizada e sua fundamentação: pesquisa sobre eventos de ciclismo e cicloturismo em Ponta Grossa/PR. Posteriormente, foi realizado no período de 08/2018 a 12/2018 o levantamento dos eventos envolvendo ciclismo na cidade de Ponta Grossa/PR. Com o monitoramento foi possível entender que eventos de ciclismo e de cicloturismo podem gerar incremento turístico com retorno social e desenvolvimento para o município.

Abstract:
The research work developed is included in the Regional Tourism project: planning, organization and development, continuing the research started in 2017 on the theme of bicycle tourism, seeking subsidies for understanding the segment, covering the area of events. The objective was to demonstrate that cycling events can increase tourism in a locality and that the development of cyclotourism can be favored in this context by working as a tourism product. The first stage of the work deals with the survey on the theoretical framework to support the line of research used and its foundation: research on cycling and cyclotourism events in Ponta Grossa / PR. Subsequently, a survey on events involving cycling in the city of Ponta Grossa / PR was carried out from 08/2018 to 12/2018. Through monitoring, it was possible to understand that cycling and cyclotourism events can generate tourism increase with social refund and development for the municipality.
