AMBIENTAÇÃO EM PLATAFORMAS DE E-LEARNING. PERCEPÇÃO DOS ESTUDANTES DA UCM-CED

As Instituições provedoras da Educação à Distância em Moçambique não estão alheias as novas possibilidades de oferecer os seus cursos na modalidade online usando diferentes ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem. Pensar na Educação à Distância, em especial na modalidade online, implica pensar em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem. Este estudo busca perceber até que ponto a ambientação online influência na integração e no decorrer do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. O local do estudo foi o CED da UCM, curso de Mestrado em Saúde Pública e HIV que decorre na plataforma Moodle, num total de 30 inquiridos. Para a colecta de dados recorreu-se ao inquérito por questionário e as intervenções dos fóruns da disciplina “Ambientação Online” e para a análise de dados a análise de conteúdo. Ficou evidente que para os inquiridos, a ambientação é indispensável pois facilita a passagem do regime presencial, a que maior parte estava habituado, para um ambiente virtual de aprendizagem com características bastante distintas. Conclui-se que a ambientação permite a integração ao grupo e as plataformas, a socialização, o manuseio das ferramentas, o domínio das estratégias de interacção e a formação da comunidade de aprendizagem.

  • Abstract:

    Distance education institutions providers, in Mozambique not out of the new possibilities of offering its courses in modality online, using different Learning Management System. Thinking in distance education, especially online modality, implies to think Learning Management System. This study seeks to understand the extent to which the online setting influences the integration and the course of the teaching and learning process. The study site was the CED of the UCM, a Master's course in Public Health and HIV that takes place on the Moodle platform, with a total of 30 respondents. For the collection of data we used the questionnaire survey and the interventions of the forums of the discipline "Online Environment" and for the analysis of data, content analysis. It was clear that for the respondents, the setting is indispensable because it facilitates the passage of the face-to-face regime, which was mostly accustomed to a Learning Management System with quite different characteristics. It is concluded that the environment allows integration to the group and platforms, socialization, tool management, mastery of interaction strategies and the training of learning communities.
