IMPORTÂNCIA E DESAFIOS DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE CERTIFICAÇÕES DE EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA EM EDIFICAÇÕES, O SUCESSO EUROPEU E AS PRÓXIMAS ETAPAS DO PROGRAMA BRASILEIRO DE ETIQUETAGEM EM EDIFICAÇÕES
As edificações representam uma importante parcela no consumo mundial de energia e por isso, nas últimas décadas, têm ganhado atenção dos governos, que passaram a adotar políticas para reduzir o consumo no setor. Entre as possíveis medidas para racionalização do uso da energia nos edifícios, é destacado neste artigo a importância e os desafios das certificações de eficiência energética em edificações. Também é apresentada a evolução da legislação da União Europeia para desempenho energético dos edifícios, destacando-se o exemplo de Portugal, considerado bem-sucedido na aplicação da certificação energética em edificações. Por fim, é mostrado a evolução do Programa Brasileiro de Etiquetagem em Edificações e as suas próximas etapas que contemplam, entre outros fatores, modificações na etiqueta, que passará a exibir o consumo real de energia primária da edificação e visam possibilitar ao consumidor a melhor tomada de decisão para compra e planejamento de seu imóvel.

Abstract:
Buildings represent an important part of the world's energy consumption, and for this reason, in the last decades, they have gained attention from governments, which have adopted policies to reduce consumption in the sector. Among the possible measures to rationalize the use of energy in buildings, the importance and challenges of energy efficiency certifications in buildings are highlighted in this article. The evolution of European Union legislation for the energy performance of buildings is also presented, highlighting the example of Portugal, considered successful in the application of energy certification in buildings. Finally, it is shown the evolution of the Brazilian Program of Buildings Labeling and its next steps, which include, among other factors, changes in the label, which will show the real consumption of primary energy of the building and aim to enable the consumer to make the best decision to purchase and plan your property.
