ALFABETIZAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA (AC) E A FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORES: MAPEAMENTO DAS TENDÊNCIAS DE PESQUISA
Este mapeamento objetivou caracterizar a produção científica acadêmica relacionada à alfabetização científica (AC) e a formação de professores, no que se refere ao ensino de Ciências. Para tal, considerou-se que uma pessoa cientificamente alfabetizada sabe reconhecer a linguagem expressa pela natureza e seus fenômenos, corroborando com a definição de AC expressa por Chassot (2000). Os termos “alfabetização científica”, “formação de professores” e “ensino de Ciências” foram utilizados para buscar por dissertações e teses no banco de dados do IBICT. As informações foram analisadas segundo Bardin (2006), seguindo as etapas de pré-análise, exploração do material, tratamento dos resultados, inferência e interpretação. Percebeu-se uma crescente preocupação com a formação dos professores, tanto inicial quanto continuada, para que lecionem Ciências de forma contextualizada, permitindo ao educando uma leitura do mundo que o cerca.

Abstract:
This mapping aimed to characterize the academic scientific production related to scientific literacy (SL) and teacher education, regarding science teaching. For this, it was considered that a scientifically literate person can recognize the language expressed by nature and its phenomena, corroborating the definition of scientific literacy expressed by Chassot (2000). The terms “scientific literacy”, “teacher education” and “science education” were used to search for dissertations and theses in the IBICT database. The information was analyzed according to Bardin (2006), following the steps of pre-analysis, material exploration, treatment of results, inference and interpretation. There was a growing concern with teacher training, both initial and continuing, to teach science in a contextualized way, allowing the student to read the world around him.
