Pelo viés da estética da recepção, muitas questões são levantadas da obra literária Grande sertão: veredas (1956), uma delas, é de que como a velhice não destina o personagem Riobaldo à doença, à morte e ao esquecimento. Portanto, o objetivo do trabalho consiste na temática da presença das figurações da velhice.

Abstract:
Due to the Aesthetic bias of reception, many questions are raised of the literary wor Grande sertão: veredas (1956), one of them, is how old age does not target the character Rioblado to disease, death and forgetfulness.
