O DUPLO CHAMADO TERNURINHA...

  • Abstract:

This research starts in 2009, during my degree in Theater at UFRGS, in the discipline of Character Composition Atelier II, which proposed the objective of investigating the buffoon mask using the techniques developed by Jacques Lecoq. Trying to understand a little about the grotesque, we went to the streets looking for reference in what called our attention due to exaggeration, asymmetry, lack of control, lack of politeness - because that was how we understood the grotesque. Train my eyes to see the crooked outside my yard, in order to, after much research, translate it into me. (How petulant this academic aspirant is !!!) It turns out that after years of research, looking at the Other so much, I ended up reaching out to myself, to my contradictions, to my grotesque. The present article will present a little about the paths that I have been treading on my double buffoonery, which I baptized Ternurinha. In the current phase of the research, I have been developing lectures to present in academic and school environments, as well as in churches, unions, streets, squares and theater festivals, dealing with themes such as Feminism, Democracy, Capitalism and Necropolitics. Following the perspective of Henri Corbin, from the field of anthropology of the imaginary, Ternurinha makes himself walking. It is in the diversity of situations and audiences that it becomes more complex, that it becomes alive.
