O MEIO AMBIENTE NATURAL COMO POTENCIALIZADOR DA SAÚDE: SOB O OLHAR DE UMA COMUNIDADE RURAL
RESUMO: Pesquisa qualitativa, que objetivou conhecer a percepção dos moradores da localidade de Santo Antão, na regiao sul do Brasil, sobre o meio rural e a sua reflexibilidade na saúde. Para a produção dos dados foi utilizada a entrevista com 14 moradores, sendo interpretadas pela análise categorial de conteúdo. Os resultados evidenciaram a valoração e o reconhecimento do ambiente rural como benéficos a saúde. Conclui-se que a ambiência, as ações endógenas da localidade potencializam a saúde física e mental, somando-se a tranquilidade da região e as relações sociais, o que conduz ao sentimento de pertencimento, de vínculo com o local, o que contribui para a saúde social e a fixação dos indivíduos na região.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Qualitative research, which aimed to know the perception of residents of Santo Antão, in the southern region of Brazil, about the rural environment and its reflexivity in health. For the production of the data, the interview with 14 residents was used, being interpreted by the categorical analysis of content. The results showed the valuation and recognition of the rural environment as beneficial to health. It is concluded that the ambience, the endogenous actions of the locality enhance physical and mental health, adding to the tranquility of the region and social relations, which leads to a feeling of belonging, of bonding with the place, which contributes to social health and the settlement of individuals in the region.
