A VOZ MBYA-GUARANI: AUTO REPRESENTAÇÃO E RESISTÊNCIA NO DOCUMENTÁRIO CONTEMPORÂNEO
Este artigo pretende analisar a voz, enquanto objeto de experiência
e interação humana, e a autorrepresentação, como elemento de legitimação de
uma alteridade indígena. Para tanto, utilizaremos como corpus o documentário
Mokoi Tekoá Petei Jeguatá: Duas aldeias, uma caminhada (2008). O texto está
dividido em três momentos: 1) Breves considerações acerca do conceito de voz
na cultura guarani; 2) A dimensão oral da representação indígena: o caso do
cinema, em que analisaremos de que forma o indígena se autorrepresenta a
partir do documentário, e 3) A voz no documentário: possibilidades de leitura da
autorrepresentação, história e vida dos Mbyá-Guarani, finalizando a discussão
com análise da Lenda da Grande Cobra, observando como esta narrativa oral,
aliada ao novo suporte de circulação, perpetua elementos de uma tradição na
contemporaneidade.

Abstract:
This article intends to analyze the voice, as object of experience
and human interaction, and self - representation, as an element of legitimation
of an indigenous otherness. For that, we will use as corpus the documentary
Mokoi Tekoá Petei Jeguatá: Two villages, a walk (2008). The text is divided into
three moments: 1) Brief considerations about the concept of voice in the
Guarani culture; 2) The oral dimension of indigenous representation: the case of
cinema, in which we will analyze how the indigenous self-represent from the
documentary, and 3) The voice in the documentary: possibilities for reading the
self-representation, history and life of the Mbyá-Guarani, Concluding the
discussion with the analysis of the Legend of the Great Snake, observing how
this documentary narrative perpetuates elements of a tradition in the
contemporaneity.
