O presente artigo enfatiza o tema

“Esquizofrenia e o processo educacional”. O

trabalho apresenta, como problema, a falta

de subsídios dos professores para identificar

e atender os indivíduos que apresentam

esquizofrenia. Desse modo, objetivou-se,

de forma geral, pesquisar as dificuldades

de desenvolvimento, de aprendizagem e de

relacionamento dos esquizofrênicos, buscando

meios para integrá-los à sociedade, sem que

sejam discriminados. Assim, especificamente,

investigou-se o esquizofrênico na sociedade,

abordando suas reais dificuldades, a fim de

buscar melhorias no processo de ensino do

adolescente com essa doença. Para isso, é

necessário capacitar corretamente o professor,

para que este possa identificar os primeiros

sinais do problema. Segundo Matos (2007),

a esquizofrenia é um tipo de psicose; a

medicina a considera como uma perturbação

do funcionamento da mente, que tem por

característica alterações do julgamento, do

raciocínio, da personalidade e a perda da

realidade. Esquizofrenia significa “mente

dividida”, pelo fato de que o indivíduo não sabe

diferenciar o real de suas fantasias; desse

modo, tem a certeza de que seus delírios e

alucinações são reais.

Abstract:
This article emphasizes the

theme “Schizophrenia and the educational

process”. The paper presents, as a problem,

the lack of subsidies from teachers to identify

and treat individuals with schizophrenia. Thus,

the objective was, in general, to research

the development, learning and relationship

difficulties of schizophrenics, seeking ways

to integrate them into society, without being

discriminated against. Thus, specifically, we

investigated the schizophrenic in society,

addressing its real difficulties in order to seek

improvements in the teaching process of

adolescents with this disease. For this, it is

necessary to properly train the teacher so that he can identify the first signs of the

problem. According to Matos (2007), schizophrenia is a type of psychosis; Medicine

regards it as a disturbance in the functioning of the mind, characterized by changes in

judgment, reasoning, personality, and the loss of reality. Schizophrenia means “split

mind,” because the individual cannot differentiate the real from his fantasies; in this

way you are sure that your delusions and hallucinations are real.
