UMA ABORDAGEM ACERCA DAS INFECÇÕES SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEIS PARA COMUNIDADE SURDA DE JATAÍ
Os surdos se expressam por meio
da Língua Brasileira de Sinais - Libras, ao qual
se difere da língua majoritária da sociedade em
que vive, dessa forma, na maioria das vezes,
é desprovido de informação, pois as barreiras
comunicativas na sua maioria estão presentes
até mesmo dentro da sua própria família. Assim,
as Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis
- IST se constituem em um grave problema
na saúde dos surdos. Portanto, essa ação
teve como objetivo proporcionar ao surdo o
acesso à esclarecimentos e a prevenção das
infecções sexualmente transmissíveis. Para
isto, contamos com a participação de uma
enfermeira fluente em Libras, vinculada à
Secretaria Municipal da Saúde da Prefeitura
de Jataí, ao qual esclareceu sobre as diversas
infecções sexualmente transmissíveis, bem
como as possibilidades de tratamento e
as formas de evitar contrair tais infecções.
Contudo, ao final concluímos que nossos
objetivos foram alcançados, pois possibilitamos
aos participantes surdos, interagirem com o
tema a partir de sua primeira língua, a Libras, e
assim, a todo momento os participantes tiravam
dúvidas em língua de sinais. Esperamos ainda
que a divulgação desta ação contribua anda
mais com o acesso de informação aos surdos,
possibilitando mais ações nessa temática.

Abstract:
The deaf are expressed through
the Brazilian Sign Language - Libras, which
differs from the majority language of the society
in which they live, so, most of the time, it is devoid
of information, because the communicative
barriers are mostly present until even within
your own family. Thus, Sexually Transmitted
Infections - STIs constitute a serious problem in
the health of deaf people. Therefore, this action
aimed to provide deaf people with access to information and the prevention of sexually
transmitted infection. For this, we had the participation of a fluent nurse in Libras,
linked to the Municipal Health Secretariat of Jataí Prefecture, who explained about
the various sexually transmitted infections, as well as the possibilities of treatment and
ways to avoid contracting such infections. However, in the end we concluded that our
objectives were achieved, as we enabled deaf participants to interact with the theme
from their first language, Libras, and thus, at all times, participants would ask questions
in sign language. We also hope that the dissemination of this action will contribute
more to the access of information to the deaf, enabling more actions on this subject
