  • Abstract:

The objective of this work was to determine biomass and carbon in shoots compartments (leaves and stem) in the planting of two eucalyptus clones and seeds and the use of regression analysis for modeling of the same located in the municipality of Aliança do Tocantins aged 7 years. years. The models were developed based on the determination of the breast height diameters (DBH) and the total height of the individuals. The selected trees were determined by systematic inventory where 10 were selected by clone and seminal path through rigorous cubing by the Smalian method according to their dimetric distribution. The biomass values found were 13.09 t.ha-1 for clone VM 58 (Eucalyptus camaldulensis x Eucalyptus urophylla) for clone GG100 (Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis) 16,19 t.ha-1 and for hybrid seeds (Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis) value of 24.801 t.ha-1. The adjusted and tested models were accurate, with adjusted determination coefficients (R2aj) of the order of 89.0%. The values of organic carbon found for Eucalyptus. seminal urograndis 38.306%, 32.416% 39.065%, for VM 58 were 38.351%, 31.31% and 29.256% and for GG100, 38.502%, 31.475% and 28.182%, for the leaves, litter and bark compartments respectively. It is concluded that there is a great potential for growth monitoring and carbon fixation in Eucalyptus spp. using the adjusted equations in this paper.
