EFEITOS DA SUPLEMENTAÇÃO DE ÁCIDO BUTÍRICO ENCAPSULADO SOBRE O PESO DE ÓRGÃOS DE FRANGOS DE CORTE EXPERIMENTALMENTE INOCULADOS COM Salmonella Enteritidis
Objetivou-se com este estudo avaliar o efeito de três níveis de suplementação de ácido butírico encapsulado sobre o peso de intestino e fígado de frangos de corte experimentalmente inoculados com Salmonella Enteritidis via inglúvio. O peso intestinal foi superior nos animais não inoculados. Aos 15 dias, peso do fígado foi menor no grupo inoculado e maior nas aves não inoculadas e tratadas com 0,03% de ácido butírico adicionado na ração.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of the suplementation of three doses of encapsulated butyric acid in gut and liver weight of broiler chickens experimentally inoculated with Salmonella Enteritidis. Intestinal weight was higher in non-inoculated animals. At 15 days, liver weight was smaller in inoculated group and bigger in non-inoculated poultries and treated with 0.03%.
